Cucumbers and weeds
Tuesday, May 29th, 2007The garden really does have a lot of weeds - not such a pretty sight really. As I put in each new bed I’m weeding it and the path on both sides, so it’s slowly getting better. This morning I prepared the bed for the cucumbers and planted 2 each of Telegraph Improved, Marketmore 86 and Cross Country.
These all came from Perennial Favorites, Jon Kreps nursery on Peabody Road in Appleton. We picked up the cucumbers, as well as cabbages, brussels sprouts, tomatoes, basil, parsley, broccoli yesterday. A lot of stuff to put in the ground.
