Peas

Sunday, April 22nd, 2007

Yesterday I planted a double row of peas in the bed where last year I had cucumbers. This was one of the beds that got a big gouge cut through it by the flooding on Monday. There was plenty of soil in the path between this bed and then next to fill in the gap though, so it was easy to fix.

Today I’ve planted Dwarf Gray Sugar Peas and three kinds of radish - Hailstone, French Breakfast, and Cherry Belle. If time allows I’ll go back out and put in some lettuce. All of these are in one of the cold frames. It looks like the Monet Cutting and one other lettuce made it through - new leaves are coming up in there as well.
