Well – we got between 12″ and 14″ of snow. It’s melting away pretty fast, but still quite deep out there. I cleared the snow off the cold frames yesterday and today went up to check them out. As I opened the lights, the warm smell of recently worked soil came out – what a nice contrast to the snow that was piled right up to the top of the frames. The radishes and peas have germinated already.
